James A. Nicholson 12,13
James Nicholson was a Baptis, Farmer and Merchant. During the Civil War he volunteered in Webster County first for duty in Company C, 5th Battalion Georgia Infantry State Guards then served as a Lieutenant in Company B, 11th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry. In 1864 he was hospitalized and died on 25 Sept. 1864. Buried in the J.P. Priestly Harrell Cemetery near Righland GA.
